Die Heating Furnaces
Die heating furnaces are used to preheat extrusion dies prior to the extrusion process. Die heating ovens are indirectly gas heated; combustion takes place within a radiant tube, and circulation fans ensure the homogeneous distribution of hot air within the oven.
The furnace design is customised to the customer’s requirements and needs, available as either a drawer type or top opening model. Designed to the customer’s die dimensions, these furnaces utilise stepwise heating, thereby extending the service life of the dies.
In the first chamber, the temperature ranges from 150°C to 200°C, and heating is provided solely by flue gas discharged from the other chambers. In the other chambers, the temperature is 450°C. These furnaces are also highly efficient due to their combustion systems. Furthermore, our company manufactures traditional mould heating furnaces powered by electricity and natural gas.
