Aluminium melting and holding furnaces are industrial systems designed to melt aluminium ingots, scrap and recycled raw materials with high efficiency, and to safely maintain the molten metal at the required temperature throughout the production process. The melting capacity, fuel type and level of automation are specifically engineered to meet the production requirements of the facility.
Furnaces manufactured by Acar Teknolojik Sistemler are available in various capacities and are offered with either hydraulic tilting or plug-type discharge options. Thanks to the gearbox-driven loading hatch and the mechanical or pneumatic hatch sealing system, heat loss is minimised whilst energy efficiency is enhanced.
The systems can utilise regenerative or high-efficiency burner technology, and the furnaces are designed to operate on natural gas, LNG and LPG. Thanks to an advanced refractory insulation structure, an optimised combustion system and PLC-based automation, low fuel consumption, precise temperature control and homogeneous melting performance are ensured.
Manufactured from materials resistant to high temperatures, these aluminium melting and holding furnaces offer a long service life under demanding operating conditions whilst also reducing maintenance costs. Furnace dimensions, capacity and automation infrastructure are designed entirely in accordance with the customer’s process, aiming for maximum production efficiency and low operating costs.
