Pit type furnaces are high efficiency industrial furnace systems designed for the annealing, stress relief, tempering, ageing and other heat treatment processes of long, cylindrical workpieces requiring vertical loading.

The vertical design minimises the risk of bending and deformation that may arise from the weight of long shafts, pipes, bars, rolls, wire coils and similar workpieces. Thanks to uniform temperature distribution and precise process control, high product quality, energy efficiency and process continuity are ensured.

Each vertical shaft furnace is custom designed and manufactured for the customer, taking into account the workpiece dimensions, production capacity, process requirements and plant layout.
