Composite Curing Ovens

Composite curing ovens are high precision industrial heat treatment ovens designed to cure the resin systems of carbon fiber, glass fiber (fiberglass), and other advanced composite materials under controlled temperatures.

The curing process is of critical importance for composite parts used in the aerospace, defense, space, automotive, rail systems, and high-tech manufacturing sectors to achieve their final mechanical properties.

Composite Curing Ovens developed by Acar Teknolojik Sistemler are custom designed and manufactured according to project specifications, taking into account part geometry, resin type, curing cycle, and production capacity. Thanks to the high flow, controlled hot air circulation provided within the oven, minimal temperature deviation is achieved throughout the working chamber, ensuring homogeneous heat transfer across the entire product surface. This optimizes the controlled cross-linking process of the resin, minimizes internal stresses, and enhances the mechanical strength and dimensional stability of the parts.

The system’s multi zone temperature control structure allows for the independent management of different heating zones. Curing recipes comprising heating ramps, soak/dwell times, and controlled cooling steps are applied with high precision using PID-controlled heating algorithms. 

Our ovens are designed to meet the requirements of the AMS 2750 standard, and a complete SAT and TUS monitoring and recording infrastructure is provided.

Thanks to the PLC and SCADA based automation system, all process parameters can be monitored in real time, temperature-time curves can be recorded, and detailed batch based reports can be generated. Depending on customer requirements, the system can be equipped with any desired number of vacuum and vacuum measurement ports.
